Welcome To My Website
My first two years in Parliament have been exciting and exceedingly busy. The Coalition Government continues to face an enormous challenge as it takes on the task of dealing with the current economic situation of the country. In the short-term we will all feel the effects of the measures that the Government has had to take but I am confident that our proposals are right and that we will see an improvement in Britain’s fortunes in the near future.
Since being elected as MP for Hendon I have taken up a wide range of issues in the House of Commons including tackling crime on our local streets, Thameslink, free schools, school security, a settlement for Cyprus, student tuition fees, reform of financial services ... the list is not exhaustive and you can follow my work in Parliament via this website.
I have also had the opportunity over the last two years to visit an enormous number of local organisations including schools, businesses, churches, synagogues and temples, and I have had the pleasure of meeting hundreds of local residents. I continue to be humbled by the many people who selflessly make a huge personal contribution to our lives in Hendon, Burnt Oak, Colindale, Edgware and Mill Hill. I look forward to meeting many more of you in the near future.
