Many constituents contact me with concerns about their case/application with the Home Office. Please see below for more information on what action I can take and a contact form for you to contact me.
What I can do
As your MP, I am able to contact the Home Office about current or existing applications for visas, passports and Biometric cards. I can also make representations on imminent deportations.
What I cannot do
I am unable to expedite applications without evidence of compassionate grounds, provide letters of support for individual applications, or help you submit an application.
What information do I need?
In order to make representations to the Home Office, I will require the following information for the applicant:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Address
- Home Office Reference Number
- Nationality
How long will it take to get a response?
Once I have made representations, it may take up to 25 working days to receive a response. Sometimes it can take longer if the issue is more complex. However, I will contact you as soon as I receive a response.
