On October 7th we saw the worst massacre of Jewish people since the Holocaust. Since then, the ongoing conflict and loss of civilian life on all sides is extremely regrettable.

I have stood by Israel's right to defend itself against a proscribed terrorist organisation whilst abiding by international law and ensuring the safe passage of aid to Gaza.
