Matthew was pleased to attend the interfaith blood donation, National Seva and Mitzva Day awareness concert at the Shree Swaminarayan Temple in Golders Green as a guest of Acharya of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi His Divine Holiness Purushottampriyadasji.

The audience watched pipers from the Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band, a drum piece from the percussion team, dancers perform a version of River dance, and the acknowledgement of academic qualifications awarded to those who have attended the Temple over the last 10 years.

Matthew said, “During my repeat visit to the Temple I was told that the ancient Hindu scripture states, ‘Truth always prospers, but never untruth. God always bestows victory on the side of truth.’ We can all apply that sentiment to our own lives but the truth is that the Temple has been giving to our local community for ten years now through events like Seva Day and we have all prospered by their generosity. Tonight’s concert was a celebration of that giving.”
