Matthew was delighted to welcome James Brokenshire, Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, to see the completion of the Wohl Court in Hendon. This is an independent living scheme run by Jewish Care.
Leading a debate in Westminster Hall this week on Accessibility at Railway Stations, Matthew highlighted the importance of public transport for millions of people and the issues faced by disabled passengers and passengers with mobility restraints when using railways stations.
Matthew was pleased to visit the congregation at the Maretul Har, Romanian Evangelical Church in Edgware. The visit provided an opportunity to see how the church brings together people whose family originated in Romania but who have made Edgware their home.
