Matthew has expressed grave concern over a triple stabbing which has taken place in Colindale. The incident occurred on the evening of Thursday 3rd November near Colindale underground station.

Following heavy rain, Matthew was contacted by several local residents about flooding in the A1 underpass in Mill Hill. Following a lack of an action by TfL several months ago, assurances were given to Matthew that works would be undertaken. 

Matthew was dropped 49 meters below the streets of London to see the latest progress on London’s new Super Sewer.

Matthew has repeated his calls for the Government to set a national strategy for improving eye health. 

In an event in Parliament, Matthew pledged to continue to his call which follows from a debate held in Parliament earlier this year.

Matthew has called for further action on mine clearance at a meeting of cross party MPs in Parliament. 

Matthew has written to Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, expressing his concerns about the effect of the proposed extension of the Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).

Matthew, on behalf of Hendon, has paid tribute to Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in a special sitting of Parliament.

I am greatly saddened at the death of HM the Queen. For over 70 years she has guided our country with a level of service that has been exemplary. This is a terrible loss and a day I have dreaded. Our thoughts must now be with her family at this very sad time for them all.

Matthew has visited the Islamic Centre Edgware as part of the Mosque Open Day initiative.
