Matthew has been in Brent Cross packing hampers at Jesus House to be given to those in need this Christmas.
This annual event is supported by local churches and religious organisations as well as Jesus House itself. This year over 2000 homes will receive a package donated by organisations and church groups within the borough of Barnet.
Last year Matthew and his wife Claire participated in the project and delivered hampers in the Stonegrove area of Edgware. This year, Matthew wanted to see the process and logistics behind the operation.
Matthew said: “I’m very pleased to be supporting Jesus House and other churches in this endeavour. Their generosity will provide over 2000 households with a Christmas dinner, food and other festive gifts at a difficult economic time. I am proud that such an organisation exists in the local area and supports so many of my constituents”.
